After what seems like a lifetime of writing and recording our music, we came upon the idea of writing this book while reminiscing about our daughter who, when asked as a little girl what she would like to eat, responded in a way only children can: "Hot cream tasty roll pie!" she answered. There were a few of these family memories of raising not our just our daughter but a son as well, that caused us to start this collection of poems and lullabies. Original art is by Janis.
